Ain Soph Journey Kyoto Tanuki Shichibei

Our guardian deity "Tanuki Shichibei"

At our Kyoto store, “Tanuki no Shichibei” is enshrined.
The AIN SOPH. Kyoto store is located on Daini Kyogoku Street in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City.
In the Edo period, this area was the precincts of a temple called Kankiko-ji.
It is said that raccoon dogs lived in the bamboo grove of Odoi built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. After the Meiji Restoration, when Shinkyogoku Street opened and became a downtown area, three large raccoon dogs were found dead around the Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine grounds.
The raccoon dogs were carefully buried by the people of this area, and three shrines, Rokubei Myojin, Shichibei Myojin, and Hachibei Myojin, were built as guardian shrines to purify this area.
Among them, Shichibei Myojin was enshrined in Shinkyogoku Park, but in order to protect it from air raids during the war, Maruni Shokudo, located in the west of the park, took over. The building of Maruni Shokudo is now our AIN SOPH.  Journey Kyoto. Of course, Shichibei is still enshrined in our store.
In addition to Mr. Shichibei, the building of the Kyoto store hides a secret that makes you feel the history. Please enjoy your meal with feeling the history at our Kyoto store that has inherited the baton from that time.

There is no parking lot. Please use the parking lot near the store.
All seats are non-smoking.
The information posted about allergies does not guarantee that you will not develop allergic symptoms.
We ask the customer to make the final decision.
